Talk: Prospects for peace and coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians in light of the ongoing genocide
Sunday, June 29, 12:15 pm in the Sanctuary
Jonathan Kuttab is a Palestinian-American, born in Jerusalem, who is a key theoretician and practitioner of nonviolent resistance as it relates to the Israel/Palestine conflict. He is an attorney and director of FOSNA, Friends of Sabeel North America. Sabeel is an ecumenical liberation theology center in Jerusalem. He is the co-founder of both the independent Palestinian human rights association Al-Haq and Non-Violence International. He has spoken widely about the role of non-violence in social change, and about his recent book, Beyond the Two-State Solution. His talk is sponsored by the Social Justice Council of USNH.
We will not be doing outside advertising, so please invite your friends and colleagues. And note that we will have an on-site security guard present Sunday for several hours around the time of the event.
