Subject: March for Science!

Dear all,
R.A.F.T. is sponsoring a bus to take students and interested faculty to a satellite march connected to the March for Science in Washington D.C. on Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day). We will be going to the affiliated march on the Green in New Haven, CT, about 30 minutes from Fairfield.

Here are the details, AND two announced meetings connected to this:

Students can reserve a spot on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a $10 deposit which covers a sandwich and bottle of water, which will be provided. The bus will leave PROMPTLY at 11:30 a.m. from in front of Alumni Hall, between the Campus Center and the Rec. Plex, on Saturday, April 22. We will return to Fairfield by about 4:30 p.m. that day.

To sign up and give their deposits students should do any one of the following:
1) Come to Dr. Patricia Behre's office, Canisius 315 and sign in with her.
2) Sign up and leave the deposit at Canisius 213 during normal office hours
3) Sign up at one of two advanced meetings to get ready for the march: Wednesday, April 12, from 5-6 p.m. in the Barone Campus Center, Room 202 or Wednesday, April 19, at the Barone Campus Center, 202, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. for sign making.

Spread the word! Join the march! R.A.F.T. members interested in coming should contact me immediately (answer this message), and then get their deposits in asap. There are so many departments helping to sponsor this event, that I believe the bus may fill quickly.

Wednesday, April 12, 5-6 p.m. This will double as a R.A.F.T. meeting in addition to taking sign ups for the bus.
Wednesday, April 19, 7:00-8:30, Barone 202: SIGN MAKING!

Hope may of you can make it.
Go Science!
