SMART Recovery is a science-based recovery program that is an alternative
to 12-step programs. You can learn more about SMART Recovery at their

efforts to establish SMART Recovery Meetings in Connecticut.

There will be a conference call held on Thursday, March 19, at 7:00 pm for
everyone interested in helping to establish SMART Recovery meetings
throughout the state.  The call will last no longer than one hour.  SMART
Recovery Founding President, Dr. Joe Gerstein, will be participating in the
