I just received this email from NCSE saying that the Darwin Day Dinner
in Norwalk that was to have been held last Saturday has been rescheduled
for this coming Saturday. Unfortunately, it's an hour after the end of
the workshop on publicity by Fred Edwords, so you should have a frantic
drive down to Norwalk in order to fit in both events.

Dear Norwalk-area friends of NCSE,

The Darwin Day celebration in Norwalk scheduled for February 9 was
postponed to February 16, due to inclement weather and the travel ban,
so it's not too late to plan to attend. You'll need to pay at the door
($65 per person; cash or check only), and please RSVP in advance to
John Levin at (646) 371-9280 or jlevin at tfm-llc.com, or Craig Tomarkin
at ctomarkin at aol.com.

To remind you of the details:

The Fifth Annual Darwin Day Dinner in Fairfield County, Connecticut,
will be held at 6:00 p.m. on February 16, at the Continental Manor,
112 Main St. in Norwalk. The event costs $65 per person, which
includes dinner as well as a talk on “Darwin, evolution, and 21st
century biomedical sciences: The importance of model organisms in
research and discovery" delivered by Daniel Colón-Ramos of Yale School
of Medicine and a science quiz (with prizes!).

The event is sponsored by the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism of
Fairfield County, the Wilton Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society
of Friends (Quakers), the Unitarian Church in Westport, the Maritime
Aquarium, and the Norwalk Public Schools Science Department.
