Re:	Conversations,
HAC

From:
Cynthia Harvey, Coordinator August 30, 2012

Conversations
will meet a week later than usual in September—the eighth. We'll
watch a talk by Steven Pinker presented at Ted Talks. The subject is
the decline in violence among humans during the last few hundred
years.

This
email is to call your attention to the change in dates to Sat. 9/8 at
the usual time of 2:30 p.m. at Unitarian Association of New Haven.

What
is humanism? Life
in this world is the central and defining focus of humanism. We
envision a world in which every individual's worth is respected, and
human freedom and behaving responsibly are natural aspirations.
