I thought you may be interested in this action alert from the Secular Coalition for America: http://action.secular.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4040

The Secular Coalition is asking everyone to write their Senators and urge them to remove so-called "charitable choice" provisions from the re-authorization of SAMHSA legislation. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Act (SAMHSA) currently contains provisions that subject beneficiaries of social services to proselytizing or harassment while seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment. In addition these “charitable choice” provisions violate the separation of church and state because they allow for the direct funding of houses of worship with federal funds.

Take action now: http://action.secular.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4040

Tell YOUR Senators not to introduce a bill that contains "charitable choice" provisions this year.
