Those who attended the "Modern Times" screening and discussion this past weekend might also be interested in attending a screening of Charlie Chaplin's "The Immigrant" (1917)and "The Kid" (1921)at Merkin Concert Hall in NY City.  The event is part of the NYC Guitar Festival and will feature live performances by David Bromberg and Marc Ribot, who have composed new scores to accompany the films.  

Thurs, Jan. 14 at 10:00 pm.  $40-45.
